Senior Functional Consultant - Oracle EPM

We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Oracle EPM solutions. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and drive successful project delivery from requirements gathering through to post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle EPM (Cloud and/or On-Premise) solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders across finance, business units, and IT to understand requirements and translate them into effective EPM solutions.
  • Guide project teams through all project phases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Optimise existing EPM systems to improve performance and usability.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, standards, and governance in EPM implementations.
  • Support data validation, testing, training, and post-go-live support activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7-10+ years' proven experience in functional roles within Oracle EPM (Hyperion suite, Cloud or On-Premise).
  • Hands-on experience with at least two modules such as Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Cash Flow Planning, ARCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, EDMCS.
  • Strong understanding of financial, workforce, capital planning, consolidation, reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead functional teams and deliver large-scale EPM projects successfully.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, from operational staff to senior management.
  • Deep functional expertise combined with business acumen; ability to work independently and collaboratively; effective prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
