Xander Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an essential role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live a fulfilling and independent life. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help with personal care, and promote independence, while offering emotional and physical support in a safe and caring environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide person-centered care to individuals with various disabilities.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support with mobility, transfers, and transportation.
- Administer medications and provide health-related assistance as required.
- Encourage and support participation in community activities and social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Ensure that all care is delivered in line with Xander Care's values and policies.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and healthcare professionals.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of person-centered care principles.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support) are advantageous.
