**The Opportunity**:
Due to customer growth, our awesome team at Mt Thorley are after a Field Service Technician to join our embedded crews to service our mining client in the surrounding Hunter Valley region. This position is to provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu customer equipment and contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency through your efforts.

As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu, you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. Did you know Komatsu is an RTO? This means we are able to support your learning with a range of courses including trade upgrades and the best news is you're paid to do it. Our employees are encouraged to complete 2 courses per year. We also provide a car, phone and laptop/tablet and laundered uniforms for all our field service employees.

**Roster**: Lifestyle 5/4/4/5 Mix of day and nightshift

**Location**: Mount Thorley and surrounding region

**Renumeration**: Base rate + Super + Site Allowances + Overtime (which is paid at double-time). We also provide a fully maintained Ute plus a Phone and Laptop to support you in this role as well as laundered uniforms.

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate (Cert 3 Mobile Plant) complimented by your mechanical fitter qual (HD Mechanic/Fitter)
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and field service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded within the construction and mining sector.
- A minimum of C class Licence
- Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
- Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A proven high level of customer service
