Mobile Service Technician Job

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality field service and repair of plant and machinery to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fitting/Mechanical trade, with experience in Hydraulics an advantage. You will also possess good numeracy, verbal and written skills, as well as the ability to operate machinery and use tools accurately.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Your strong work ethic and pride in workmanship will ensure that you consistently deliver high-quality results.

You will be required to reside near Singleton and be available for overtime and participate in a 24 hour on-call roster. A current Manual Driver's Licence (and willingness to obtain an LR Licence) is also a requirement.

Our Service and Supply Centre is based in Singleton, and you will be provided with a vehicle, plus full product and job training. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality field service and repair of plant and machinery to customers.
  • Utilize knowledge of Fitting/Mechanical trade and Hydraulics to provide solutions to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics.
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately.
  • Good numeracy, verbal, and written skills.
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • Able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and problem-solve.
  • An understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices.
  • A current Manual Driver's Licence (and willing to obtain an LR Licence).

This is a hands-on role where there is travel to sites within Singleton and surrounding areas. Our role is best suited to applicants who reside near Singleton and must be available for overtime as well as participating in a 24 hour on-call roster, reporting to the Operations Manager.
