GTE is an engineering firm specialising in control systems, electrical engineering, industrial communications and functional safety within the mining and industrial sectors.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position will be responsible for managing our day-to-day business operations functions whilst creating a high performing team environment in the pursuit of operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage deliverables in the areas of Administration, IT, HSEC, Continuous Improvement and Quality.
- Management of and reporting on operational budgets.
- Measure efficiencies of operational performance and drive continuous improvement in both quality and efficiency across business operations.
- Provide strong leadership in creating an inclusive environment to motivate, influence and guide the operations function to ensure achievement of GTE's Strategy.
- Manage and maintain GTE's ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
- Oversee facilities management.
- Manage and optimise company policies and procedures, including contractual management relevant to business operations.
- Identify operational risk and compliance issues and actively initiate actions to resolve and follow through to closure.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Degree qualified or a certification in business or commerce.
- Extensive management experience (preferably in an engineering business).
- Strong analytical skills.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing demands.
- Australian resident or the right to work in Australia.
