BGIS is currently seeking a **Part-Time Gym Attendant/Lifeguard **to join our team at **Holsworthy Barracks **. As a **Gym Attendant/Lifeguard **, your main responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals using the gym and pool facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment, preventing accidents, and responding efficiently to emergencies.

In addition to your lifeguard duties, you will also be involved in general gym operations, equipment maintenance, and providing exceptional customer service to patrons. This position offers a flexible schedule with the possibility of arranging additional hours based on your preference.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a current **First Aid Certificate and Pool Lifeguard Certificate **. Additionally, strong swimming skills are required, and you should be capable of duck diving to depths of 6m within a six-month timeframe.

**Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.**

Hours: 24.5 hours per week

Schedule:

- Thursday: 1200 - 2000 (flexible to 0530 - 1330)
- Friday: 1200 - 2000 (flexible to 0530 - 1330)
- Either Saturday or Sunday: 0800 - 1800

**Requirements**:

- Current First Aid and Pool Lifeguard Certificates
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform lifeguard duties
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends, as required
- Must be willing to undergo Baseline Clearance
