Manual Tester

ClearView is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Applications Tester to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform compatibility testing across various web browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure consistent performance and appearance.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that fixes and enhancements do not introduce new defects and that existing functionalities remain unaffected.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, providing clear and concise descriptions, steps to reproduce, and necessary supporting information. Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to maintain a shared understanding of requirements and resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues that might not be covered by formal test cases.

**Requirements**:

- In-depth understanding of web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common web development frameworks.
- Familiarity with web testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Experience with RESTFul API testing, SOAP Web services testing using Postman and SOAPUI respectively and testing Batch Jobs.
- Knowledge of security testing techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate defects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey test results and collaborate with different teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow test cases and document results thoroughly.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Depending on the specific requirements of the organization and projects, additional skills like automation testing experience, knowledge of specific testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA), and domain expertise may be desired or required.
