Job Title: Procurement Manager for Global Infrastructure Services
AWS is seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager to manage the procurement of infrastructure services and supplies for our global operations. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, managing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with AWS procurement policies.
About the Role:
Develop and implement category strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs
Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract administration, and performance management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
Analyze data to inform procurement decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in a global organization
Proven track record of delivering complex projects and achieving cost savings through procurement strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
