This role is integral to our ongoing growth and expansion initiatives. As a senior technical consultant, you will be responsible for providing escalation support, strengthening client environments, and contributing to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support client environments across servers, networking, and Azure cloud infrastructure
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), VPNs, and security appliances to ensure seamless operations
Support cybersecurity initiatives including Essential Eight compliance (patching, app whitelisting, admin access restrictions)
Implement Microsoft 365 environment hardening strategies (MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, Intune)
Assist with vulnerability remediation following pen tests or Nessus scans to enhance overall system security
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and process improvements to drive efficiency and excellence
Engage directly with clients to deliver both technical solutions and strategic IT input to meet their evolving needs
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer who possesses a solid understanding of Azure IaaS and cloud networking, as well as hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Microsoft 365 security measures.
