Long term contract Location NSW & ACTFederal Government Job Details The federal government department is looking for an accomplished and dynamic Cloud Solutions Architect.
Key duties Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define multi-cloud technical solutions.
Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud solutions, including hands-on configuration, coding, and integration with AWS, Microsoft 365 services, Azure, on-premises and Saa S solutions.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards for all cloud environments (ISM, PSFP, E8).
Stay updated with the latest developments in AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365 services and best practices.
Undertake more complex tasks and contribute to the strategic direction of the team Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with hands-on implementation expertise in AWS and Azure/M365 is desirable.
Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Formation) and Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Functions).
Hybrid Cloud: Broad hybrid AWS or Azure environment experience.
Experience with Git Lab Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including integration and security configurations.
Knowledge in containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365 (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
AWS landing zones and multi account in landing zone Due to the nature of the role the candidate must be australian citizen with NV1 or Baseline clearance or with the ability to obtain.
