**_About the role_**

A leading milling, manufacturing, and distributor of flour-based food products are looking for an, QLD, SA & WHSE Manager covering WA based at the Tennyson QLD site on a full-time permanent basis.

**_ Duties _**
- Work with the National WHSE Manager and WHSE Team to develop strategic actions and plans for improvement in WHSE towards best practice.
- Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to implement the company WHS & E management systems in line with Allied Pinnacle policies, procedures, and relevant legislations.
- Working collaboratively with and coaching the Site Team Managers, Leaders, and workers to implement and maintain the WHSE policies and procedures.
- Provide advice to Site Management and team members on compliance and legislation in regard to WHSE.
- Setting up appropriate consultative mechanisms to ensure the involvement in the running of a safe systems of work, and drive and support processes for identifying, assessing, managing, and recording hazards and risks and implementing suitable control measures.
- Ensure a WHSE Inductions and training program is implemented at sites and utilising internal and external resources as appropriate and provide coaching in WHSE requirements, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct regular site WHSE Audits, inspections and observations and assist in addressing any corrective actions identified.
- Work with Site Management to deliver strategies to reduce workers compensation claims.
- End to end management of incident reporting and investigations and implementing suitable corrective actions.
- Develop and conduct toolbox talks, and safety alerts as required.
- Facilitate consultation of new and modified work processes and equipment.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all parts of the business as required.

**_Skills and experience_**
- Minimum WHS Diploma/Tertiary qualifications.
- Evidence of a competent level of WHS & E technical/ professional knowledge.
- Experience in WHSE management position.
- Previous experience implementing and managing a WHSE management system.
- Previous experience in supporting safe behaviour at all levels in previous roles.
- Previous experience in Workers Compensation, Injury Management and return to work processes.
- Strong planning, organisational skills and communication and influencing skills.
- Strong Risk management skills.
- Experience working within the FMCG industry is advantageous.
