Data & AI ConsultantLocation : Brisbane, HybridEmployment Type : 12 Month + Ext ContractStart Date : Late AugustWe are seeking a Data & AI Consultant to drive innovation and delivery across Azure, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric environments, with Copilot integration.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in designing scalable data architectures, leading technical projects, and collaborating with clients across various sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead estimation and planning activities for data and analytics projectsBuild solution designs, data models, and architecture roadmaps tailored to client needsTake accountability for solution delivery, technical validation, and stakeholder engagementDelivery & GovernanceOversee project execution and ensure adherence to PMO processesManage timelines, budgets, and scope in coordination with the project management teamEnsure all deliverables meet high quality standards and align with design specificationsTechnical ExpertiseApply advanced knowledge of Azure, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and PythonPromote and adhere to best practices in secure development and information securityDesign and implement data governance strategies and scalable BI environmentsCollaborate with internal consultants and stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomesParticipate in resource allocation, mentoring, and upskilling initiativesProvide feedback and coaching to foster high-performing teamsBusiness & Brand EngagementIdentify additional opportunities during project delivery and support pre-sales activities as neededRepresent the company at external forums, tech events, and knowledge-sharing platformsContribute to strategic goals, diversity initiatives, and enhance brand visibility through thought leadershipSkills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years' experience with Azure/Fabric and Power BI solutioningDeep expertise in data architecture, solution roadmaps, and data model designExceptional interpersonal, stakeholder management, and consulting skillsProven experience in project effort estimation and PM methodologiesStrong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving attitudeCertifications – RequiredMicrosoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst AssociateDesirable QualificationsPRINCE2 or Agile certificationsExperience with Azure DevOps and Monday.comSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Consulting, Information Technology, and Customer ServiceIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting, IT System Data Services, and IT System Training and Support
