As Key Account Manager you'll enjoy a combination of strategic relationship management with existing Clients, along with the development of new business within a specified target portfolio.
You will be responsible for building the NSW Government and select Federal agencies from its current success levels. You will be the lead in all aspects of the business from building the business plan, developing a high level of market awareness of the Equifax value proposition across the target customer, setting and achieving aggressive growth targets for revenues by leading the sales engagements with key Government existing accounts and targets.
There are three distinct stages for this role - Consolidation of the Business, grow the business and run the business.
**What you will do**:
- Be responsible for building and executing effective sales plans by deeply understanding customers needs
- Stay abreast of opportunities as well as any threats that may impact success
- Collaborate with a varied, cross-functional range of internal peers across Business Units, Marketing and Product, Pricing, Analytics etc at all levels.
- Follow a deliberate, structured sales process and approach to ensure portfolio growth and target achievement
- Take a conscientious approach to achieving growth in new business targets whilst ensuring base revenue is maintained**
**What experience you need**:
- Strong leadership track record with ability to lead, motivate and energise people to cooperate and to perform well.
- Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with exceptional personal customer relationship management skills
- Demonstrated resilience with a track record of being able to retain long term focus while managing to progress through deflections, unintended and/or unexpected barriers to deal closure.
- Highly analytic and commercially astute with significant commercial business experience and knowledge
- Mandatory 4+yrs of experience in partnering with the Government to position and sell value adding solutions.
- Extensive experience in sales and entrepreneurial capabilities to establish, grow and successfully run a new business.
- Ability to work effectively across organisational units and geographic locations.
- Personal presence and strong influencing skills.
- Ability to engage effectively at a Senior Government level

- Experience with Analytics, Risk, Data or Fraud offerings
- Strong background in Government customer management.
