**The Role**:
Are you an experienced strategic communications specialist, with demonstrated experience in campaigns and project management?

We are seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to play a key role in the development, delivery and evaluation of strategic communications plans and campaigns across portfolio teams. You will lead the delivery of best practice and evidence-based communications that concisely communicates narratives to our staff and the broader public.

This role The role also actively participates in a broad range of communication tasks, events and activities to support the delivery of the Division's priority work. Ad hoc after-hours work may be required.

**VPS5 Equivalent Rate | Contract to June 30**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop strong client relationships
- Develop high quality, audience-centric communications
- Design, deliver and evaluate data-driven strategic communication plans
- Project management, including working closely with other teams in the division driving implementation work
- Manage external campaigns, marketing and engagement activities, including campaign budget expenditure
- Understand business needs to ensure the program or project is designed to deliver upon desired organisational goals
- Plan the sequence of projects or activities to enable effective implementation
- Develop a plan to achieve these including a project schedule, activity sequencing, dependencies, timelines, risk management strategies, resource requirements
- Manage relationships with and between program or project stakeholders
- Provide information and communications to program stakeholders

**About You**:

- Edits written communications to ensure they contain the information necessary to achieve their purpose
- Ensures appropriate style and formats are used
- Experience in planning and implementing government advertising campaigns
- Expertise in providing strategic marketing and communications advice
- Entertains wide-ranging possibilities in developing a vision for the future
- Thinks at the big picture level
- Translates strategic direction into day-to-day activities
- Works across a number of timeframes
