The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is an international professional membership body representing Civil Engineers across the world.

ICE Australasia provides support for Civil Engineers working in Australia and New Zealand through the sharing of knowledge, influence of public infrastructure policy and encouraging innovation across the sector.

Hays Recruitment is delighted to partner with ICE in the recruitment of an Australasia Manager to oversee membership engagement and key stakeholder relationships in the region.

**Your new role**

As the Australasia Manager you will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of ICE's support to the Australasia geographical region. Further, you'll be tasked with:

- Developing strong and collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders, including members, other peak industry bodies and relevant government departments
- Implementing strategies to actively engage with existing membership, fostering a sense of community and delivering value through tailored programs, events and communication
- Providing advice and guidance on professional development to members, non-members and employers
- Advising student groups on membership and careers available to gain relevant experience in the space

**What you'll need to succeed**

Possessing an understanding of the employment market in the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure or Built Environment sector, you will be an experienced Operations Manager, comfortable working remotely. This will be supported by:

- A proven track record fostering strong working relationships with a range of key, external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in business planning, preparation of budgets and financial management
