We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources while dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.Alex Fraser Group has a role for a Picker Labourer to join our team at our Archerfield Recycling Facility, QLD.
This role requires that the successful candidate be available for morning shifts and weekends where required.
Hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 7:00am to 12 midday Saturdays.In your new role with us, you will:
Work as part of a small team on a concrete recycling plant at Archerfield
Stand near a moving conveyor belt picking in a small hut
Perform routine plant maintenance such as greasing rollers, changing screens and general housekeeping using shovels and brooms
Operate a variety of machinery (Excavators, bobcats, water truck, etc.)
Actively participate in daily toolboxes
This role is a great fit if you are:
Physically fit
Good mechanical skills and quick hands
Prepared to wear appropriate safety equipment during the shift: hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and long-sleeved high visibility clothing
Able to set high standards for safety, productivity and efficiency
Ideally experienced in mobile plant operation (an advantage, but training will be provided)
Own reliable transport
