Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for a Picker Labourer to join our team based at our
Archerfield Recycling Facility
, QLD. This role requires that the successful candidate to be available for morning shifts and weekends where required.

Hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 7am to 12 midday Saturdays.

In Your New Role With Us, You Will

  • Work as part of a small team on a concrete recycling plant at Archerfield
  • Stand near a moving conveyor belt picking in a small hut
  • Routine plant maintenance such as greasing rollers, changing screens and general housekeeping using shovels and brooms
  • Operation of a variety of machinery (Excavators, bobcats, water truck etc.)
  • Actively participate in daily toolboxes

This Role Is a Great Fit If You Are

  • Physically fit
  • Good mechanical skills and quick hands are essential
  • Prepared to wear appropriate safety equipment during the shift: hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and long-sleeved high visibility clothing
  • The position requires the ability to set high standards for safety, productivity, and efficiency
  • Ideally experienced in mobile plant operation (an advantage, but training will be provided)
  • Own reliable transport
  • Looking for a long-term role
