Permanent and fixed-term contracts available.
Grade 1 Community OT
Permanent or fixed-term contract (6 months ++)
The Health Ambulatory Aged Care Program (AACP) includes the Transition care program (TCP), Restorative Care Program (REST), and GEM in The Home (GITH).
Grade 2 Hospital OT
Permanent or fixed-term contract (6 months ++)
Provide services to in-patients across acute or sub-acute wards, including specialist assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients in the Acute, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation & Management, Palliative Care, and Sub-acute in the home.
Grade 2 Community OT
Work with clients, carers, and families to promote independence and safety at home.
Develop goals and care plans to support clients in remaining active in their community.
Complete equipment prescriptions, home modifications, and advise on pressure care management/seating.
Develop in-home and community-based therapy programs.
Work with diverse clients and health conditions.
Participate in student training programs.
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Grade 3 Community OT
Provide clinical expertise to complex cases, support staff supervision, and lead quality initiatives within the RAHT service model.
Work autonomously in home-based settings, focusing on client independence and well-being.
Report to the RAHT Manager and adhere to Occupational Therapy Australia standards.
