Occupational Therapist Career

This is a dynamic and supportive role, providing high-quality services to clients across the community and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with various health conditions, promoting independence and safety at home.
  • Develop goals and care plans to assist clients remain at home and active in their local community.
  • Provide specialist assessment, treatment, and discharge planning to admitted patients in acute, rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation & management, palliative care, and sub-acute settings.
  • Work autonomously, undertaking a varied and diverse workload, and provide interventions in predominately home-based settings.
  • Participate in student training programs, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
