We are seeking a results-driven and experienced **Key Account Manager** to join our dynamic team in Sydney. You will play a critical role in maintaining and growing Royal's market presence.
**The Role**:
As the Key Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales, manage key client relationships, and lead the sales team in achieving revenue and growth targets. This role is pivotal to maintaining and expanding our market presence and ensuring that the sales team continues to perform at its best.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Account Management**: Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Handle regular client check-ins and provide ongoing support to drive repeat business. Driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets through new business development and existing client expansion
- **Sales Growth**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling existing clients and acquiring new accounts. Develop strategies to achieve sales revenue targets and business growth. Leading and motivating the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals
- **Market Insights**: Gather and report market insights, including competitor activities and industry trends, to inform business strategies and product development.
- **Team Leadership**: Represent the sales team in management meetings, and as the role evolves, provide mentorship and leadership to sales representatives to ensure their alignment with company goals.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and new business development. Keep senior management informed of sales pipeline, market opportunities, and performance.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Proven experience as a **Key Account Manager** or senior sales professional, ideally within the **building materials**, **construction**, or **formwork industry**.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high-value client accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
- **Commercial acumen** with the ability to make informed decisions that drive both business and client success.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to present products and solutions confidently and persuasively to clients.
- A focus on **customer service excellence** and providing solutions tailored to client needs.
