Fabrication Project Coordinator
Our client in the Northwestern suburbs is looking for a Project Coordinator with a view to permanency.
Duties:
Provide technical advice related to projects during the tendering and estimating process.
Coordinate projects effectively.
Identify and pursue new opportunities for the company.
Close out negotiations prior to project award.
Audit proposals for both new and existing quotes.
Prepare metal take-offs and fabrication details for projects.
Liaise between clients and the workshop to ensure project progress.
Key Criteria:
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, mechanical engineering, and welding processing.
Experience as a Project Coordinator.
Proven track record in similar roles with relevant background.
Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
Experience in sales, contract management, and negotiation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
Ability to communicate clear instructions to internal and external stakeholders.
