Fabrication Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Project Coordinator to join our organization in South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance, coordinating projects, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice related to steel fabrication, mechanical engineering, and welding processing during the tendering and estimating process.
  • Coordinate projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for the organization, closing out negotiations prior to project award.
  • Audit proposals for both new and existing quotes, preparing metal take-offs and fabrication details as required.
  • Liaise between clients and the workshop to ensure project progress, communicating clear instructions to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, mechanical engineering, and welding processing.
  • Experience as a Project Coordinator, with a proven track record in similar roles.
  • Customer-focused with problem-solving skills, able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, contract management, and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
