**About the Role**

Tintern Grammar seeks an experienced and strategic Head of Digital Learning to lead and innovate digital education across the school. Reporting to the Vice Principal and Director of Information & Technology Innovations, you will spearhead digital learning strategies, support staff in developing innovative practices, and nurture a culture of digital fluency to enhance the overall learning experience. This role includes a 0.4 FTE classroom teaching component.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and communicating a school-wide digital learning vision.
- Collaborating on AI and data-informed educational initiatives and advancing assessment and feedback practices.
- Providing high-level oversight of the library and information systems to keep it a central, well-resourced hub for learning.
- Leading professional development to upskill staff in essential digital competencies.
- Driving digital transformation projects and supporting a digitally fluent community.

**About you**

The successful applicant will have:

- A strong ability to lead and communicate a comprehensive digital learning vision.
- Proven experience in enhancing pedagogical practices through digital solutions.
- Proficiency in ICT integration and contemporary educational platforms.
- Collaborative skills for working with leadership, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Competence in data-informed decision-making for teaching and wellbeing.
- Project management expertise to oversee digital technology initiatives.
- Experience in professional development for staff digital capabilities.
- A research-driven approach to integrating digital technologies and AI in education.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Postgraduate qualifications in Digital Learning, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Experience in Learning and Development within the education sector.
- Familiarity with Schoolbox (Learning Management System).
- Active membership in professional educational technology organisations, reflecting a commitment to current industry trends.
