You will report Australia & New Zealand portfolio results quarterly for IFRS17, Solvency II and local statutory regulatory reporting bases.

The position is for a 12-month fixed term based in Sydney and reports to the Head of Life & Health Actuarial, ANZ with immediate commencement.

**Financial Reporting**
- Report Australia and New Zealand portfolio results on SCOR's group IFRS17, Solvency II and local statutory bases
- Adapt the group IFRS17 solution to comply with local IFRS17 requirements
- Report period end liabilities and impacts of assumption, model changes and sensitivities
- Upload (both automatic and manual) cashflow projection data into reserving systems and validate all data
- Ensure correct data flow to downstream systems
- Complete ongoing user-based training on reserving systems and reporting tools
- Prepare governance and clearance reports of financial results including analysis of movements and reconciliations
- Propose reserving assumptions
- Write sections of the local entity annual Financial Condition Report and ICAAP report
- File local entity regulatory returns

**Prophet Modelling**
- Setup and run Prophet cashflow projection models
- Perform user acceptance testing of model changes as required

**Quality Assurance and Process Improvement**
- Assess reasonableness of projections and financial results
- Validate data in SCOR reserving systems
- Execute controls in the valuation process with documented evidence
- Respond to external/internal reviewers and auditors
- Get involved in activities to transform and enhance the efficiency of valuation processes
- Connect with SCOR's Asia-Pacific actuarial community

**Experience**
- Fully qualified actuary or partially qualified actuary progressing through exams
- Understanding of IFRS17 is advantageous
- Past life insurance financial reporting or valuation experience essential
- Highly proficient user (coding not required) of Prophet actuarial projection system
- Advanced use of Excel
- Experience with SQL and Python programming languages are desirable

**Required Education**
- Associate of the Actuaries Institute of Australia (or equivalent)
- Relevant degree in an actuarial studies, commerce or related field
