**About the role**

You will teach and support students in the Victorian Certificate of Education program and play a fundamental role in preparing students for their final examinations - Ensuring they achieve the best possible results, which can impact their future educational and career opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**: design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the VCE curriculum; Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
- **Subject Expertise**: stay current with the latest developments in your field and ensure your teaching materials are up to date
- **Student Assessment & Individual Support**: regularly assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve; Provide extra help/resources during office hours as needed
- **Classroom Management**: Manage student behaviour, ensure a respectful atmosphere, and promote active participation.
- **Exam Preparation**: prepare students for VCE examinations by offering study strategies, practice exams, and exam-taking skills.
- **Record Keeping**: maintain records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- **Participating in School Activities**:school events, meetings, and committees, contributing to the broader educational community.

**About you**

You are a passionate and dedicated educator, keen to play a key role in inspiring and guiding our students on their educational journey with us. You are determined to create a positive learning environment and help students achieve their full potential.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience.
- Thorough knowledge of VCE curriculum, policies, and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school administration.
