Job Title
A highly skilled and experienced game programmer is required to join our team. This individual will work closely with designers, artists, and animators to create engaging gameplay experiences.
About the Role
Design and implement core gameplay systems and control interfaces using C++ and game script where appropriate.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Tune and polish features to establish the correct look and feel for our games.
Create tools to facilitate the implementation of game features, improve iteration times, and increase productivity.
Produce stable, reliable, and well-documented code which is often complex and intricate.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
At least 5 years of experience in low-level software development, including at least 2 years in the video games industry or a related field.
Ability to write well-structured and highly optimized C++ code.
Strong understanding of top-down design, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and game design principles.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with a proven ability to deliver on deadlines.
