**Allora Homestead Residential Aged Care** in
**Allora **in the role of a
**Personal Carer.**

Allora is located about two hours drive west of Brisbane and just 20 minutes north of Warwick. If the idea of living in a rural township appeals; this location can offer a great tree change experience for the right person.

The Personal Carer provides assistance to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual residents needs. Engages with our residents to enrich their lives and support their needs, assisting residents who may require specialised care, including dementia care and palliative care.

Casual opportunities available with a variety of shifts across a 14 day roster. Prospect of progressing to a permanent part time role.

As an Aged Care worker given the appropriate training you can be asked to assist in other areas of the home when required.

**What will you need**:

- Cert III qualifications in Aged Care (or equivalent) desired
- Ability to use computer systems to maintain care records
- Compassion for and understanding of the elderly
- Flexibility with shift days and times
- Friendly approachable manner
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and flu.
