**The Opportunity**:
MIGAS in partnership with our host client **BOC Gas and Gear** are looking for a Trade Sales Trainee to start at their shop in Bayswater.

BOC Gas and Gear is well known as one of the world leaders in gases, engineering, and healthcare. They provide innovative, sustainable, and safe solutions for customers in speciality sectors including heavy industry and medical environments.

The role is hands-on and will involve some data entry and customer service work at the front of the store as well as some stores work in the back including picking and packing, manual handling of gas cylinders and receiving and dispatching stock when required.

If you enjoy interacting with people and have an interest in engineering while not wanting to work in a trade then this is a role you will enjoy.

This traineeship will see you complete your **SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail **as you put theory into practice and get paid in the process. No two days are the same, and you'll gain valuable experience to set you up for a successful career.

BOC has excellent opportunities for advancement within its organisation.

If you already have a forklift licence and some experience with welding that is a plus, however if not, BOC will give you forklift training to gain a licence as well as the opportunity to complete an introduction to welding course.

**About You**:

- A positive and easy going attitude
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent interactive and communication skills
- Previous sales, warehousing, or retail experience a plus but not essential
- Driver's licence and reliable transport ideal
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and police check
