THE OPPORTUNITYDue to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an in-store Trade Sales Representative based full-time in our Malaga Home Improvement Store.
Ideally, we are looking for a motivated and career orientated professional to build and maintain key relationships with our valued Trade customers.
This position involves working as part of our collaborative Retail store team - reporting to the Store Manager.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a rotating roster which will include some Saturday work which offers weekend loading rates.
RESPONSIBILITIESMaintaining and developing relationships with all assigned customersIdentifying and developing new customers and confident in cold callingGrowing salesIdentifying new product and market opportunitiesLiaising with the operations team to improve product design and customer servicePreparing project quotations and sales proposalsAdherence to Stratco safety and other policies and proceduresStrict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environmentABOUT YOUA proven sales track record, preferably in the building or hardware industryBe action oriented and able to effectively communicate at all levelsBe a hands on, practical person with a good technical abilityEstimating experience would be highly valued but not essentialBe honest, self motivated and have a passionate desire to be successfulHave the ability to work in a team environmentHave excellent business building and prospecting skillsComputer literacyThe ability to manage multiple customers and prioritiesA team player that has a passion for retail sales
