Stockroom Associate (40hr) - JD Sports - Waterfall North West, South Africa Job Description Responsibilities:Provide feedback to management regarding stock issues and movementsDrive the ultimate customer experienceEnsure sales targets are metManage the receiving and dispatching of stockProcess stock within specified time framesFacilitate efficient rotation of stock from the stockroom to the sales floorEnsure neatness and housekeeping standards are maintainedManage shrinkage in line with company standardsQualifications:A Grade 12 qualification or equivalent2 years stockroom experience (Advantageous)Hospitality background (Advantageous)Skills:Customer-centric attitude and approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to direct the stockroom teamFlexibility to work weekends and evenings as requiredCompetencies and Behaviours for Success:Proactive in taking on new opportunities and challenges with enthusiasmStrong relationship-building skillsCustomer relationship managementTimely decision-making to progress organizational goalsAdoption of digital and technological innovationsMotivating others to perform their bestReflective and feedback-oriented mindset for personal growthStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentIndependent work capability and initiative-takingHigh attention to detailPreference will be given to candidates from designated groups in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
