This organisation is seeking a skilled individual to join their accounting and finance team to manage accounts payable operations.
Job Description
Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency within the accounts payable department.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Team Lead should have:
Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience managing a team in a similar role.
Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the industry.
Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
