Job Opportunity: Accounts Payable Lead
Overview of the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our accounting and finance team as an Accounts Payable Lead.
This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage accounts payable operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency within the accounts payable department.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience managing a team in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the industry.
