**The Role**

An exciting opportunity for Training and Development Manager has arisen to join our Asian team. This role will play a key role in the planning and delivery of Toro's learning and development strategy, by promoting a high-impact learning culture and a healthy "appetite" for learning internally and across channel partners' network.

**Responsibilities**
- Help develop a superior network of Toro channel partners and employees, with the capacity to support the ongoing business growth, so that Toro's operational capabilities exceed all product end-users current and future expectations.
- Identify learning needs in accordance with the organization's strategic and operational plans. Assist in the development and effectively communicate of a learning strategy for the organization and provide an annual learning plan that supports this strategy.
- Prepare a business case to secure a budget within the organization that will support meeting ongoing professional training and development needs.
- Evaluate existing learning programs, make recommendations for change, and upon approval, implement these changes.
- Regular interstate, international travel is required.

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (TAE)
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated advanced experience in volume development of eLearning products using Articulate Storyline.
- Ability to work independently, with mínimal day-to-day instructions, and/or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business learning needs and develop strategies and associated plans.
- Capacity to engage constructively and respectfully with individuals and explain technical and operational processes concepts.
- Language/s - Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese (Advantage, but not essential)
- Must have a valid passport
