Assistant Coordinator

We are currently seeking a permanent part-time Assistant Coordinator to join our YMCA Wavell Heights Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
This role offers 34.5 hours per week during school terms and up to 38 hours per week during vacation care.
About the Role As the Assistant Coordinator, you will support the Service Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of the service and the leadership of a team of Educators.
You'll be guided by a strong management team, including your Coordinator, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the development and delivery of engaging programs Support daily service operations Help manage staffing and team collaboration Ensure compliance with policies and regulations Assist with administration and documentation Build strong, positive relationships with families and the school community About You Completed (or currently studying) a Diploma of Children's Services or relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching Experience assisting with programming and a passion for quality childcare Strong administration and documentation skills in an OSHC setting Excellent communication and customer service skills Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) would be advantageous About the Service YMCA OSHC operates across 50+ school sites in South East Queensland, providing before school, after school, and vacation care.
