We are a team of over 600 professionals spread across Australia and New Zealand providing our clients with commercial landscaping solutions. We specialise in civil landscape construction, landscape maintenance, building, irrigation, sports turf, and golf course management.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic SHEQ Manager to join our team to support and drive the H&S function of our business.

**The role**:

- Reporting to the General Manager
- Undertake and complete all tasks in accordance with Landscape Solutions Safety, Quality and environmental systems and legislative requirements
- Split between the office and site, with the potential for interstate and overseas travel as required
- Collaborating with staff at all levels driving H&S compliance and improvements
- Auditing operations both on site and in office, and maintain compliance with IMS documentation and certification
- Participating in and providing content for monthly ELT Management meeting
- Assisting managers and admin with the injury management and reporting process
- Conducting incident investigations and implement improvements and corrective actions based on root causes
- Maintaining Health and Safety registers and matrix's such as competencies, certificates/qualifications, and the creation of site safety documentation
- Coordinating training courses for staff and assist in the development and implementation of competency-based assessments
- Assisting with tenders and proposals with the Business Development Manager
- Work to achieve WHS, Environmental and Quality targets and objectives
- Previous experience in a SHEQ position within a Blue-Collar industry, with relevant qualifications/certifications
- Communicates effectively, both oral, relates well to others and be an effective listener
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to Landscape Solutions needs, priorities and goals.
- Ability to understand and adhere to our policies, procedures, and systems
- Maintain trusting relationships with co-workers, customers, subcontractors, and stakeholder
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & Excel
- Comfortable and capable of presenting to large and small audiences
- Willing to obtain an acceptable National Police check and Working with Children Check
