The **Physical Product Manager**role at Sony Music Entertainment Australia is a key position responsible for leading the physical rollout of album and single releases to both retail and Sony Music D2C.

**What you'll do**:

- Planning and execution of physical album releases across Retail and Sony Music's D2C platform.
- Compile and track necessary logístical information for new product/program launches (SKUs, product titles, product descriptions, imagery, etc.).
- Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize physical product sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment between release strategies
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners
- Manage order processing and coordinate with the warehouse to oversee inventory allocation, packing, and shipping.
- Identify opportunities for exclusive physical product offerings and campaigns to drive consumer engagement.
- Manage stock forecasting, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics to ensure timely distribution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the physical music market.
- Oversee Artists Tour stock management, process orders and ensuring adequate inventory levels for touring events
- Coordinate and execute occasional mail-outs
- Provide occasional support for artist in-store events, ensuring smooth execution.
- Reporting - Generate pre-order, sales, and inventory reports.
- Market Analysis - Analyse market trends and adjust strategies for optimal sales and target achievement.
- Analyse release schedule and identify appropriate projects to integrate physical products into the fabric of campaign rollout.

**Who you are**:

- At least 3 years of label and/or distribution experience in physical retail sales and marketing, and 2 years D2C
- High level knowledge of physical retail outlets, rapidly changing market conditions, product development timelines, and marketing opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and a commitment to follow-through.
- Shopify experience highly regarded
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience and understanding of inventory assessment
- Position is relationship focused, requiring excellent internal and external communication skills and professional diplomacy.
- Needs to be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and evolving workload. Must be flexible.
- Strong passion for and a deep knowledge of music.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Openness to feedback, willingness to learn new skills, and adaptability to rapidly changing digital trends and technologies.
