- Deliver advanced clinical and consultancy services to Consumer Liaison/Consumer Partnering in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
- Provide professional leadership and responsibility for development of Consumer Liaison Officers clinical practices, procedures and protocols.
- Demonstrate high-level clinical leadership and mentoring support to less experienced clinicians to problem solve urgent and emergent complex clinical issues.
- Act as a clinical reference point for MSH and Directorate Consumer Liaison Officers.
- Provide high level consumer feedback responses to complaints received from the Health Minister's, Premier's, and Local Member's Officers as well as Office of Health Ombudsman Complaints.
- Provide early clinical reasoning to complex complaints and attempt to deescalate issues.
- Manage and coordinate the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of agreed partnering with consumer clinical initiatives as determined by the Manager, Consumer Partnering or delegate.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of the continuum of patient care and lead the organisation to interpret and integrate consumer feedback to deliver person-centred, integrated health services.
