**Your Role**:
There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you might be working on, day-to-day;
Leadership
- Coach, manage, mentor and enable the performance and career development of Quality Analysts (indirect) and of Lead Automation Test Engineers (direct)
- Demonstrate strong leadership with hands-on quality automation. Evangelize and improve the QA competency as seen through the willingness of participants in chapter sessions and career and competency progression of Quality Analysts.
- Define the professional standards and practices expected by Quality Analysts and build support amongst stakeholders as seen through positive adoption of these frameworks and processes.
- Proactively contribute to the Architecture, and broader Technology leadership group as shown brining positive changes to the Technology and engineering culture.
- Look for better ways to do things and advocate for continuous improvement as seen by you being you being regarded as the go-to person for the quality automation strategic direction.
- Keep up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for QA as shown by the innovations and improvements you bring to quality automation.

Testing Support:

- Oversee and input to each persistent teams testing strategy and test plans that support the associated product road maps.
- Communicate findings and status on a regular basis to the Head of Delivery.
- Complete mapping of test cases to business requirements (Test Traceability Matrix).
- Manage and participate in the completion of all testing as provided.
- Setup and management of test environments during testing.
- Have input into user acceptance testing as directed.
- Conduct defect analysis and suggest improvements to the delivery process to improve quality.
- Monitor and report on defect resolution across teams to management.
- Develop/Maintain, document, implement and execute comprehensive Test Plans, Procedures and Cases, utilising manual, and automated testing facilities.
- Plan and coordinate security, stress, volume, and performance tests across all releases.
- Plan and coordinate partner testing including environment and scheduling considerations.
- Review and provide feedback on test results ensuring the results are documented and circulated to relevant parties and problems are reported during testing phases.

Test Environments and Tools:

- Plan, coordinate and oversee the setup and implementation activities of the test environments.
- Establishment and maintenance of the test devices i.e., Windows, OSX and Android.
- Establish, procure, and maintain test tools i.e., defect management and automation including training and processes to support.

Business Process Improvement:

- Identify issues when analysing/reviewing requirements, business processes and process flows or technical solutions if they are incomplete.
- Use test and defect data and analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities in all areas of delivery.
- Input and support to change impact assessments and delivery plans.

Technology Strategy:

- Input into the setting of quarterly OKR's and helping oversee the delivery of these according to defined product & tech health metrics.
- Drive architecture and technology choices for the mobile products that are aligned to Flybuys agreed development practices.

Your Experience: *
- Leadership experience, developing talent across the business and outside of your direct organisation.
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile based, fast paced, complex environment within long running cross-functional teams.
- Agile mindsets and behaviours, championing and influencing a culture of growth mindset, self-leadership, and development.
- Strong relationship management skills as the Chapter spans across various delivery streams.
- Automation expertise is preferred.
