**The Organisation**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Governance Manager. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Knowledge and Information, playing a pivotal role in driving data governance initiatives that will shape the future of our organization.

**The Role***

As the Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our comprehensive data governance program. Your responsibilities will include developing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure effective data governance throughout the organization, establishing and maintaining data quality standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant data regulations. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align data governance practices with our strategic goals and objectives. Additionally, you will champion best practices in information management, safeguard data from unauthorized access, and actively manage emerging issues and risks. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's data-driven decision-making processes and contribute to the advancement of healthcare. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Overseeing the review, administration, and implementation of our data governance program
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective data governance throughout the organization
- Ensuring compliance with relevant data regulations, by implementing security protocols and procedures
- Collaborating with stakeholders to establish processes for data management, integration, warehousing, migration, and archiving
- Providing data governance advice and support for organizational projects and initiatives
- Developing educational resources and delivering programs to educate staff on data management responsibilities
- Ensuring alignment of data governance policies and procedures with business goals and objectives
- Monitoring compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending necessary changes
- Acting as a champion for best practices in information management and data governance
- Proactively identifying and managing emerging issues and risks associated with data governance
