We're on the hunt for an exceptional radiation oncologist who wants to move west and join our vibrant team.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director of Radiation Oncology, and working closely with the local doctor group and operational teams, the purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, evidence-based radiation oncology services (consultation, treatment, and all associated clinical care) to Icon Cancer Centre patients at our Midland and Rockingham locations. Our Perth based sites are located in population growth areas whilst still enabling consults to live in central Perth locations.

We use Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators to deliver high-quality radiation therapy as part of our commitment to provide unparalleled cancer services to patients and referrers. A recent public contract enables our Rockingham site to provide radiation oncology services to public patients in addition to those who come to us privately. The Midland and Rockingham centres both offer comprehensive cancer care with on-site radiation oncology, medical oncology and oncology pharmacy departments.

**About the Person We Will Hire**

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated radiation oncologist who shares our values and who is eager to contribute to a vibrant WA team.

We are seeking someone who not only goes beyond when it comes to patient care, but who understands the importance of seeking, establishing, and maintaining effective relationships with other medical professionals and referrers. As Australia's largest private provider of clinical trials, the ability to also undertake research through investigator-initiated trials or the willingness to participate in multicentre and/or collaborative trials would be an advantage.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Current registered medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Sub-speciality training in radiation oncology holding Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiation Oncologists (RANZCR)
- The right to live and work in Australia

**Desirable Attributes**
- Additional higher degree or study in the field of radiation oncology
- Clinical trials and/or research with publications
