In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee pastry production across both our resort dining outlets, including SOLA Bar & Restaurant, and our large-scale convention centre.
You'll play a key role in day-to-day operations while contributing creatively to menus and leading a high-performing team across two diverse kitchens.What you'll do:Oversee the preparation and presentation of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods across multiple service areasCollaborate on the development of seasonal menus and event-specific offerings, bringing creativity and consistency to every dishTrain, mentor, and supervise junior pastry staff, supporting skill development and high performanceMonitor stock levels, coordinate ordering, and ensure seamless kitchen workflow and prep schedulesMaintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen management protocols in line with industry standardsAssist with food cost control, portioning, and waste reduction to support overall profitabilityPromote a positive, collaborative, and high-energy kitchen environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to bring your creativity, precision, and leadership to a well-regarded hospitality brand.
As part of the Accor Group, you'll gain access to global career pathways and a supportive team environment.QualificationsWhat we are looking for:A pastry chef with proven experience in a similar environment, preferably within the hotel industryCertificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualificationsStrong understanding of food safety requirements, including HACCP and workplace health and safety (WH&S)Proven ability to manage staffing needs, plan and delegate tasks, and motivate the team to meet daily objectivesService-oriented with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skillsAbility to multitask effectively and communicate well with team members at all levelsFlexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidaysAdditional InformationWhy work for Accor?
