Business is booming and with a growing client base we are seeking a trainee (with no PVC Conveyer Belt Splicing experience) to join our team in Welshpool.

As a Trainee PVC Conveyor Belt Splicer, you will be trainee to:

- Prepare, join, and install PVC belts across various industries (light to medium belts).
- Customise of belt products to meet the requirements of our diverse range of client needs.
- Operate specialised equipment and tools, such as slitting and cleating machinery, to achieve precise and durable conveyor belt joins.
- Liaise with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in a professional manner to achieve positive outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- No or limited experience as a PVC conveyor belt splicer or a similar role in the conveyor systems industry.
- A professional, proactive and flexible and hands-on approach to work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications to perform accurate splicing (desirable)
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Current C-class Drivers Licence essential.
- Forklift, Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable)
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and travel for work/work away on occasion.

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Public holidays
