Responsibilities
We have opportunities available for skilled Belt Splicer to work with our fixed equipment across our Australian operations based in Western Australia.
Your role will be to assist the fixed plant maintenance team with installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems.
Roster available within this role are 8/6-7/7 and 7D7N-14RR day/night rotating roster on a Fly in/Fly Out.
Qualifications
For our Belt Splicer roles, you must have recent relevant experience.
Being Trade Qualified would be desired but not essential.
Hold an Australian equivalent trade certificate in Polymer Processing cert III or + or relevant experience in the field.
Candidates with HRWLs ( HR, DG, LF, RB ) will be highly regarded but not essential.
Experience in conveyor belt repair and maintenance is essential as part of this role.
Ability to work in confined spaces & work at heights.
Willingness to travel as you will be working across all sites and assets for BHP as part of field service department.

Commitment to quality workmanship ensuring that everting is completed to a high standard.
