PVC Conveyor Belt Splicer Trainee Role

We are seeking a trainee to join our team as a PVC Conveyor Belt Splicer.

  • The successful candidate will learn to prepare, join and install PVC belts across different industries.
  • Responsibilities include customizing belt products to meet client needs and operating specialized equipment and tools for precise and durable conveyor belt joins.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure are essential in this role.

As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to liaise with colleagues, customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

  • Requirements:
  • No or limited experience as a PVC conveyor belt splicer or similar role in the conveyor systems industry.
  • Professional, proactive, flexible and hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications for accurate splicing desirable.
  • Current C-class Driver's Licence is essential.
  • Forklift, Working at Heights and Confined Space training desirable.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and travel for work/work away occasionally.
