**Job Purpose**

The Aviation Training & Development Manager is responsible for supporting the National Manager - Aviation Capability Development in ensuring the development, implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the National Aviation Capability Development Program (NACDP) including the National Aviation Security Screener Accreditation Scheme (NASAS) and relevant components of National Aviation Compliance & Audit Program (NACAP). The role is responsible for informing and coordinating local programs specifically tailored for each airport to ensure that workforce capability is fully compliant with statutory requirements and is developed through programs that deliver performance outcomes consistent with the expectations of partners, clients, and the Regulator. At the site level the position holder engages directly with management teams to support the development and effective delivery of local capability development and audit programs.

**Operations and Compliance**
- Deliver and maintain compliance of the National Aviation Screener Accreditation Scheme across all sites (NASAS).
- Consult with site Training Managers to manager delivery of Cert II in Transport Security Protection qualifications.
- Systemise the integration of the National Aviation Capability Development Program (NACDP) and the National Aviation Compliance and Audit Program (NACAP) across all aviation sites.
- Assist the National Manager Aviation Capability Development with development of Aviation Security Human Factors Program.
- Manage the provisioning and delivery of CASRA in consultation with National Manager Aviation Capability Development.
- Consult with stakeholders and inform/prioritize the development of aviation capability development modules and processes in BA365.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships internally and with external partners and clients.

**Monitor and Report**
- Facilitate monitoring, recording and reporting processes and routines that are regulatory compliant and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Brief the Executive on identified issues or potential risks to the reputation, relationships or performance of the business.

**HSE**
- Participate in HSE consultation arrangements and management forums as required.
- Fulfil the responsibilities stated in the Trident HSE Policy and Procedures.
- Ensure HSE standards and requirements are incorporated as appropriate into capability development tools.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Holder of current Cert IV Trainer certification or equivalent or ability to obtain

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Previous or current qualifications or certifications for security or aviation operations.
- Holder of current auditor certification.

**Essential Experience**
- Sound managerial experience in a complex regulatory compliance and training delivery work environment.
- Sound experience in the design and delivery of aviation security training curriculum.
- Sound experience in the design and management of workplace auditing programs.

**Essential Skills**
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
- Holder of a current State Driver's License.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
- Willingness to undertake frequent inter and intra state travel.
- Confident and effective interpersonal communicator with sound written and computing skills.
- High personal integrity and grooming standards.
