Job Purpose

The Aviation Training and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the development, implementation, maintenance, and compliance of aviation capability development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership skills by delivering and maintaining compliance of the National Aviation Screener Accreditation Scheme across all sites.
  • Collaborate with site training managers to manage delivery of Cert II in Transport Security Protection qualifications.
  • Develop and systemise the integration of national aviation capability development programs across all aviation sites.
  • Support the National Manager Aviation Capability Development with the development of Aviation Security Human Factors Program.
  • Oversee the provisioning and delivery of CASRA in consultation with National Manager Aviation Capability Development.
  • BUILD and maintain effective relationships internally and with external partners and clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hold current Cert IV Trainer certification or equivalent.
  • Possess previous or current qualifications or certifications for security or aviation operations.

Essential Experience

  • Showcase managerial experience in complex regulatory compliance and training delivery work environments.
  • Demonstrate experience in designing and delivering aviation security training curriculum.
  • Demonstrate experience in designing and managing workplace auditing programs.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
  • Hold a valid State Driver's License.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
