Position Summary: We're looking for a passionate Senior Quality Engineer with strong communication skills, knowledge, and experience in BFS Products to perform automation, performance testing, and quality engineering activities.
The role focuses on delivering valuable outcomes and ensuring alignment with client and customer needs.
Mandatory Skills: Experience with AWS cloud-based solutions and genAI Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM Experience with scripting in BDD/TDD/Gherkin Experience with mainframe testing Expertise in performance/SVT testing tools like LoadRunner and K6, and performance engineering Strong technical skills in CI/CD, SQL, middleware, AWS, GCP, or messaging systems Understanding key metrics like response time, throughput, and error rates Good grasp of system architecture including hardware, network, and software components Experience with banking channels such as IVR, Branch Teller, Mobile Banking, ATM, and Electronic Banking Services Experience in retail, corporate, and wealth management domains Experience with loans, collateral management, credit systems, and core banking Duties and Responsibilities: 5+ years' experience in quality engineering as a Senior Quality Engineer Analyze and consult on business requirements, track changes, and identify product limitations Ensure all components meet quality standards and comply with client processes Perform quality engineering in banking systems, including API and file-based testing Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium/TOSCA Review software specifications to identify performance requirements Create and execute performance test cases and scripts Monitor system performance during tests and analyze results Collaborate with developers to meet performance standards Prepare detailed performance reports and insights Develop and execute API tests Execute SQL queries to fetch data from databases Prepare scripts for GUI, functionality, system integration, UAT, and regression testing Participate in Agile/scrum methodologies Salary Range: >100,000 Date of Posting: 19/August/2025 Next Steps: If you believe this opportunity suits you, or Cognizant interests you, please apply directly.
