Shanghai Street on Elizabeth is a Chinese restaurant for handmade dumplings and good quality food. We are looking for a waitress/waiter who has previous experience providing table service to customers in a restaurant environment.

**Position Details**:

- Greet customers and take orders from customers.
- Set tables, general waiting duties of both food and/or beverage.
- Clear and wipe tables, polish all glassware and cutlery.
- Learn our food and beverage menu in relation to origins and journeys taken to create the cuisine.
- Take responsibility for guests that are in your care and provide exceptional customer service.

**To be considered for this role you MUST**:

- Have relevant experience
- Be fluent in English
- Be friendly and reliable
- Have Australian work rights

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $21.38 - $26.31 per hour

Schedule:

- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC 3000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
