Responsibilities
Development and ownership of the strategic vision for the GMCT product portfolio and related roadmap for the future GMCT product offering, considering customer need and strategic objectives.
Develop, manage and execute initiatives aligned to the achievement of the vision of the GMCT product portfolio.
Manage and monitor the product lifecycles, focusing on product rationalisation, performance, pricing, margin, and stock control.
Act as the GMCT "product owner" and thought leader, bringing the organisation on the journey of product development and innovation, empowering individuals and the organisation to support proactive product planning and positive change.
Develop a high-level data framework to provide ongoing product and stock reporting to direct line manager and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Consolidate various data sources to build valuable product insights and facilitate data-driven decision making, with a focus on forecasting, performance, and alignment to organisational strategies.
Work with Governance and Finance to ensure all product development strategies adhere to the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003 and relevant policies.
Identify and monitor strategic risks related to product development and report any instances outside of tolerance.
Develop required policies and procedures to ensure strong governance in relation to GMCT's portfolio of products.
Qualifications & Experience
A relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related role.
5+ years' experience in product management with proven ability in delivering and managing successful product suites in a complex environment.
Experience as a Product Manager / Principal / Lead in a complex environment with strategic and operational achievements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience reporting to an Executive level role and preparing Board-quality reports.
