The Big Banana cafe is looking to recruit an experienced casual cook for a minimum of 2 shifts per week, with additional shifts during school holidays.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a team player in a busy kitchen.
Job Description
This is very much a "hands on" role, so you must have the ability to work fast, efficiently and under pressure.
We expect the applicant to have a sound understanding of the skills and abilities needed to work unsupervised in a kitchen team and produce fresh, tasty cuisine for our casual dining environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
Safety focused.
Possess excellent communication skills and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Able to work as part of a team.
Well presented; both you and your cuisine.
Must be available to work weekends, public holidaysand school holidays.
You must have attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of food standards are achieved.
